Instead of my annual visit to West Virginia for fall foliage, I decided, upon recieving a phone call from my good friend Alex, who was already in Vermont, that I should change plans and take a trip up there this year. It was a lot of driving, but I'm glad that I did. We photographed there for 4 days, based mostly out of the middle section of Green Mountain National Forest. The foliage was peak, and the weather was rainy and great for photography. This image is from one of many amazing creeks flowing out of the mountains, and will be the first of many photographs posted from Vermont.
